Yesterday I decided to take a few pictures of Abrielle so I could hopefully get ONE good one to put on her birthday invitations (I am so behind and they should be in the mail already but they are not...) Kinsley got very jealous that I wasn't taking pictures of HER so I did her a mini-session as well! They turned out pretty cute for me to be an amateur and using a point & shoot camera! :) Can't believe my BABY is almost ONE. . . .

Okay, It's OFFICIAL!
Mommy's Going To School!!!!
(and yes, that's a pic I took of the school when I went last last weekend)
I called & made the deposit payment over the phone that holds my spot for the January 4th class! I am so0o0oo0 excited that I am really doing this!!!! It helps tremendously having the SUPPORT from my (extended)/family!!!!!! I could never do something big without hearing everyone's input and having their support. I think I did pretty well at calling everyone asking them what they thought. So YEP, I will be attending Paul Mitchell The School- San Diego January 4 (Lord willing) I took the girls to Kmart today to get a few things then decided to go by the "train station" (it's not called that out here in CA but I can't think of what they call it..) it's like Commuter Station haha I don't know, anyway!!! We went to Customer Service to get the info on the Coaster (the train type deal that I'd be taking to school) It's a huge deal that I'd be taking PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, cause if you don't remember, I grew up in Athens AL, not a big CITY!!! So this is beyond weird for me, but VERY exciting and NEW!!! So this would mean I'd drive my car to the station, park it, walk to my little train thing, ride, get off and have to still walk to the school! Wow this is just bizarre. The main reason I am wanting to do public transit is because it is like 40ish miles to the school, and the hwy to get there is always trafficy, cause yeah, it's California. And they are over populated here. So, I would either get stuck in traffic everyday risking being LATE and risk getting in a wreck, and getting a speeding ticket. PLUS to put all that milage on my Jeep!!!! Noooo thank you!!!!!! It just stinks cause the train leaves EARLY and then I have like a whole hour or MORE to stay AFTER SCHOOL!! I dont know, maybe I can figure something else out before school begins! Not going to worry!! That's about it, I'll post the pic I took of the Coaster and Kinsley.
Thanks for reading :)

Half a step closer!
I'm just going to update about school because that's what's fresh on my mind..
Saturday I received an email stating the financial aid I could receive, and it was enough to cover the cost of Cosmetology school! That was great news. Then we needed to pay the big chunk of change to get my application/registration set in so that will guarantee my spot in the next class (Jan 4). We weren't expecting the money to come in anytime soon but I knew not to worry about it because God is in control and if it's suppose to happen then it will. Well, this morning I woke up with this STRONG, really good feeling that we had gotten paid. I logged on to our bank account website and what do you know?? We got paid!! God must have heard me when I told mama on Saturday that I wasn't going to worry because God will take care of it!!! I was so excited to see it happen before my eyes! But now here goes the BIG BIG STEP, paying them. Because that guarantees me, that locks me in. It's a very very scary position for me right now because I have never committed to school before. And this is not only school, but FULL TIME, 35 hrs a week 5 days. All I've ever been is a teenager then turned mom & wife! I am out of the loop when it comes to school. I'm use to waking up with the girls and wearing my pajamas and glasses all day if I feel like it. And now I am committing myself to not only waking up early, but getting dressed & actually looking CUTE?! And going to school for 8 hours a day for the next 46 weeks?! WHEW. I'm nervous. But it is TIME for me to branch out and do something for me! [[But for my family too of course.]] So this was titled half a step closer because today I can't do anything about it because the school is closed. Once I setup a payment for the school I can make an appt with the financial adviser and go sign the contract and everything... So.. here goes nothing :)
XOXOMe.

FASFA
Soooo I have been thinking a lot lately about our future and how else I can contribute to our family! Family's earnings, to be exact. Earlier this year I had been thinking about Beauty School but there was one huge factor that played in and that caused me to just forget it! Which was, my girls!!! They would have to be in day care, or have a full time nanny, and I just don't like that idea. My next sentences are just an idea that I've discussed over with my dear husband. Since my mom is currently in between jobs right now, she's technically not tied down to anything at home in Alabama. So in my dream world, I would magically come up with the financial aid to start Beauty School, and have my mom move out here and watch the girls for me! I've looked up the details about the school and it's Tuesday-Saturday 8am-430pm for 10 months. If my mom couldn't move out here to watch the girls for me, then I just simply could not go to school! We don't have the money to pay someone to watch the girls for us 5 days a week 8 hrs per day! But more than that, I do not WANT anyone else besides family watching the girls that much. Simply because I only trust a family member to have constant love and patience for my girls, and are not doing it just for a pay check.. That being said, I have an appointment to tour a Beauty School here in Oceanside for tomorrow, and a few hours ago I submitted my application to receive financial aid! When I spoke to the lady at the Oceanside College of Beauty she told me the tuition fee and I wasn't surprised but IT IS A LOTTTTTTTTTTTT of money!! So I honestly am not sure how I am going to figure all this out, but I'm just doing all I can right now to get the ball rolling! My hopes are so high, so I hope that I can achieve my goal, and start contributing to our family in another way besides being there for them physically! My girls are, and always will be my first priority. But I see no harm in trying to better their lives by me working some! :) Prayers are appreciated!! Who knows though, this may not be God's plan for me, and that's a okay with me!

No more tanning beds for ME!
This morning was my doctor's appointment to get my stitches removed and hear the results from the biopsy. Good and bad news, she said. Good news, it's not cancer. Bad news, the blood cells surrounding the mole were (next words are my unprofessional terms, because of course I can't remember the long words she used) basically at severely high risk of being melanoma, she said that if she hadn't of removed the mole that it would have definitely become melanoma. So, that's a HUGE BLESSING that she even checked my back that day! Thank you Lord, for watching over me! She said she wants to bring me back in December to do a longer/larger incision around the area so she can see if the bad cells have spread. Then she found two more moles on my back that she wants to remove and do a biopsy on in January after my back has healed. Basically, my back is going to have all these lovely scars on it!! I of course don't care though. But I (obviously) won't be using tanning beds anymore and I have to wear SPF 35 when outside. It makes me feel like a really old woman having to lather up on SPF but I know it shouldn't be like that at all! I should've been wearing it in the first place. I really hate that I won't be tan anymore, being tan just makes you look healthier.. But in my case it's truly the opposite! I feel like I am way too young to be having these dangers already but at least she caught it in time. It just totally stinks that we are living in BEACHY CALIFORNIA and I am just going to be constantly worried about my exposure to the sun. I am glad in a way this happened tho, it's teaching me that I MUST protect the girls from the suns rays!! I mostly do but there have been a few times where I've just been lazy and didn't put SPF on them. No more though! I'll just go buy us a beach tent to bring and hang out in while watching the waves on the beach ;) haha! Anyway that's about it. Afterward we came home for just a little bit but I decided it's MUCH too pretty to be inside so we went to Shakey's Pizza Parlor and used our Free pizza certificate then took them downtown Oceanside and walked to a few souvenir stores then onto the pier, and underneath! Its just soooo stinkin gorgeous out here! I wish soooo badly that family was near by so I could share this beauty with everybody! :( Anddd I'm out
