Our LAST Lonely Saturday!!

Helloooo :)

This time next Saturday we will be altogether again! Josh will be on the couch watching football and I'll probably be cleaning or just staring at him. :) Him coming home is such a huge step to our new future! Soon after we will be adding to our little family, then in April he will be going to school for combat instructing then we'll be moving to Camp Pendleton! And bestttttt of all he won't be deploying for at least 3 years! So it's finally like we're getting to be together, like families ought to be. I'm very very excited and ready. Yesterday while Kinsley took a nap, I made Josh's homecoming sign! I'm pretty proud of myself, considering I'm very artistically challenged...I'll post a picture in a minute. Josh said today they are at the airport waiting (and probably will be for days) to get a flight out of there. I'm hiring a photographer to take our pictures at homecoming, I'm not telling Josh! I think if I told him he'd be nervous (of the camera) and hold back emotions, so I'm just gonna let him show up and let her take the pictures in the background, is that sneaky? :) I don't even know why I think he'll show emotion even if he doesn't know, he's not very good at showing emotions. I blame the Marines for that one! Maybe once he's around all us GIRLSSSSS he'll soften up! I sure hope so! Ok this is enough typing.. Update later on! :)

Goodness me!!!

Would ya look at the DATE??? I can't believe October will be here in tomorrow!!!!!!! I'm soooooooooo excited! And we've gotten to talk to Josh on the phone or on Skype everyday, so Kinsley's getting use to him, and thinks he's REALLY funny. She's always giggling at what he has to say, it's adorable. Here are some pictures I just took, earlier today it was only like mid 70s and I was cold, so I thought it was still cool outside but it's not, it's really hot, so we just made her a sign for Daddy... She loves to paint, her sign turned all brown tho, from mixing all the colors. So I helped her out and made a sign and let her put her hand prints on them! We may add to the sign later, but for now it's just too hot outside!! I can't believe our countdown is down to a SINGLE DIGIT NUMBER! It's the best feeling ever! And it's just going to keep going fast, cause I've got SOOO MUCH TO DO! Ok, thanks for reading!

Exhaustion!!

Goodness gracious I am soooooo exhausted! I just had to say that. About an hour or two ago it hit me like a ton of bricks, as soon as I went to lay on the couch Kinsley of course runs up to my face and gets as close as she can and breathes her nasty smelling chip breath on me! She's funny like that, she has nothing to do with me most the day but if I go lay down or act like I'm about to sleep she wants my attention! I guess that's kids for you, huh? :)

We got to SKYPE with Josh today!! It was the best, it's much better than webcamming on Yahoo. It's faster and we can hear one another, instead of typing to talk.

Friday I hung up all the picture frames and curtains in the living room! By myself. And I also fixed the washing machine, so it's up and running (by myself..). Kinsley & I went to Palm Desert yesterday to get some things from Target. It really stinks we have to drive an hour just to get to a place like Target, that's the desert for you. And it was 108 degrees while we were there! Crazy hot!!!!! But anyway I bought a lot of goodies for the house, Josh saw the bank account and was like WHAT did you buy... But it was things we actually needed!! :) :) He didn't even know we had our own bathroom in our room so he's really excited about that, I decorated it in black,white,and grey. Kinsley's bathroom is so cute, I bought a brown, multi-colored polka dot shower curtain along with two towels to match and a toothbrush holder! Then the downstairs half bath is just kinda, flower-dy. It's not really cute, but I'm getting there.

I wish someone was here to fix us dinner, I'm hungry, but I really don't have the energy to stand and cook, that's pretty sad, huh!? I'm sure I'll muster up some energy here in a while.. Alright well, Josh comes home in less than 2 weeks, IS THAT NOT AMAZING??????????????????? I think so too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) He gave me a specific time/date today but I'm not going to count on it til the FRO (Family Readiness Officer) calls us this week with "official word". Tomorrow I'm going to Jennifer's to make Josh's HOMECOMING SIGN! It's really happening, he's reaaaaaaaally about to come home! It's awesome!

Sneak Peek..

Kinsley's room! Sneak peek of the house... Her room is completely finished, other than her curtains that match her bedspread. Since I'm having to do *everything* myself, I'm having to use the power drill MYSELF and it wouldnt screw into the wall yesterday, it felt like I was trying to drill it in cement. It's soooooooo annoying, I'd push as hard as I could trying to drill it in the wall and the screw would just fall out of the wall onto the ground, and of course picking it up a MILLION times makes my stomach hurt and then finally I just lost the screw so I gave up. I don't like being a man. So, her curtains are missing but EVENTUALLY will be up, even if I have to tape them up there :) :) :) No other room is ready for pictures, eventually tho!

Helloooo my little readers,

I'm writing because I won't have access to the internet til Tuesday. Yeah, it doesn't sound long to you but to me it does! :) Just wanted to update from today. The moving company lady called this morning, told me the horrible new balance that we owe, and said the movers will be in 29 Palms on Sunday!! Sundayyyy! Finally! The driver called me a few hours later and told me he'd be there Sunday morning, but he'd call an hour before he got there. I've decided to pack everything up and go first thing in the morning, because Kinsley doesn't have a bed since we're giving her convertable crib to the baby. So that means I've gotta some how get her a bed tomorrow, I think finding a bed will be easy, but having it delivered on the same day will be challenging. I'm crossing my fingers, I don't know anyone out there with a truck but maybe I could find someone. I want to get her bed set up tomorrow night so she can sleep in her room, and also find her some black out curtains so she will be able to sleep as much as possible in her dark little room. :) I've also got to get groceries. So needless to say, tomorrow's going to be a BUSY day! But I'm sooooo excited to get the ball rolling! One step closer to Josh being home! Alright, until Tuesday or later...

Wow, time is flying!

I cannot believe it's been 9 days since I last posted anything, it feels like I was on here a day or two ago. Time's flying, and I have to admit I'm extremely grateful! Josh will be here in just a few weeks,people!! :) :) We're still in San Diego, not that I mind this beautiful place BUT having my own home is what I want! The moving company lady called me Tuesday (just as she said she would on Friday) and told me basically the same thing she said Friday. "We still don't have the information for the move yet, I'll call you Friday with an update and information of when they'll be there and how much your weight (of all our stuff) was." I got testy with her, because it's just sounding fishy to me that they can't give me the price RIGHT NOW. The man told Mama when they picked up our things last Wednesday that I could call the next morning and they'd give me the weight. But when I told the lady that she said, something like he was driving so he couldn't just submit the info. I don't know, I'm just being skeptical... I don't want to be cheated out of money!! So, tomorrow she'll probably call like she said she would, and I'm guessing she'll tell me "They'll be there within the next week" REALLY? WOW thanks that's a lot of help, NOT... Why is it taking them so long to get here!!!!!! :( I have an EMPTY house just waiting to be lived in! I've gotta get things ready for Josh! Hurry up people....

My stomach just made an insanely loud growl and Kinsley looks scared, she said "Mama..... What's that?????" :) What would I do without her!? What's life without children, I don't remember or care to! I love having her.

Scatterbrained.....
I just remembered my dream from last night. I don't have too many details but it was me & Mama on a plane, and we had like 15 suitcases, and we were having to ask the flight attendant if we could hire someone to take the bags off the plane for us (we could see our luggage at the front of this hugggge plane, in reality the bags are underneath, and taken care of..) I don't know, but they had told us they'd just sit the bags outside the airplane once we land... We went to the front of the plane to try to downsize our bags and when I opened Mama's it was half empty and what was in it was SO... "MAMA". It was some marbles, pink string, and glittery stuff. Once we landed, we had a car and for some reason I drove it by myself and Mama said she'd catch up with me later. I went to "Beth's house" where I found some guys I graduated with, along with Josh's guy friends, all passed out asleep. When I first walked in, I saw the kitchen table and it had whiskey bottles and shot glasses, and all kinds of bad things. I forgot to mention I was there to pick up PRESLEE! It was her 16th birthday! I ran into two of my friends and we talked while everyone slept, he showed me three different stashes of marijuana he found in her house! It was just kind of funny. Then, I went into the room Preslee was sleeping in, and there she and Brittany were, looking like they were 18 years old, but dead asleep. It was around 1pm and I was really upset they were still asleep, with the alcohol all around it didn't look like they had been doing anything I'd approve of. I slammed the door shut, then I heard Brittany say "we didn't DO anything! Did she not see we're in the bed with each other and not some guy?". So I opened up the door and said PRESLEE, GET UP! We're leaving! Then I turn around and Mama's walking in the door looking at all the whiskey and I said, Can you believe all this? It was her 16th birthday party and she spent it with all these older GUYS! And Mama said "Yeah, I know, It looked like this yesterday when I dropped her off.." So apparently, Mama had left her there knowing it was alcohol! WEIRD DREAM, Aren't they always!!!!?? Anywho! That's enough. Preslee was grown looking,and 16 in my dream. Two things I don't want to happen. So Mom, don't let her. :)
