And no, I don't "feel old" or anything most people say on their birthday's! I like the number 22 and I'm very excited for the year to come. I've not even told this to 5 people yet, but Josh &* I decided to move out on May 1st and put everything in storage until he graduates SOI School June 11 (Lord willing). We've decided to do this for a couple reasons, one being we can collect the BAH (housing allowance) for the months of May & June. We plan on staying with my friend, Megan who lives on base at Camp Pendleton (Thanks, Megan!!). Until Josh graduates and if things go my way we're going to live on base and basically just take whichever house comes first but Josh would really like to live off base just because we could get a bigger actual house 30-45 minutes away. I rather be right on base close by my friends, the beach, and commissary! Call me crazy!?!
Anywho! About my Birthday yesterday. It was a wonderful day! I woke up in the morning & came downstairs to a Birthday card waiting for me from Josh (surprising, and it was of course really sweet). He had baked me a cake the night before so that was also in the kitchen tempting me but he would'nt let me eat any til he got candles and sang me Happy Birthday. Which he did sing it to me while hugging me earlier, in a really scary, froggy voice. He thinks he can sing if he tries to sing "deep".. It's scary and I'm glad nobody else heard him! :) Then I taught Kinsley the happy birthday song and then she sang it back to me (in the sweetest little soft, high pitched voice) and said "you're a candle!" and blew me out. That was the best present I've ever received! She knows how to tug at my little heart strings, that's for sure. After Josh lit the candles me and Kinsley worked really hard at blowing them out, I finally figured out they were "Magic Candles" that keep lighting.. Funny Josh!! So we finally got them all out and dived in to the strawberry cake with cream cheese icing! The girls then layed down for a nap and I dozed off on the couch as well (naps are soooo amazing, and refreshing). Then I woke up just as my package from mama showed up! It was a box of specially dipped strawberries. Oh.. my.. word. They are absolutely the best strawberries I've eaten in my life! Juicy Juicy!! Of course I had to take pictures! Josh had to leave last night for Pendleton which made us both really sad even though he's coming back this weekend.. He took Dallas with him which was such a load off of my shoulders, especially since I'm gonna have to be packing!
Gotta go, Ab's is crying!
XOXO
